Overview

Trinity Tactical is Quantum Systems' cyber-secure, government/defense-oriented variant of its Trinity eVTOL fixed-wing mapping drone family, positioned alongside the commercial Trinity Pro but hardened with AES-128 encrypted data links for tactical GIS (Geographic Information System) and terrain-visualization missions. The rucksack-portable system is deployable in under three minutes and runs autonomous mapping profiles via Quantum Systems' QBase 3D mission-planning software, accepting the same interchangeable camera and LiDAR payload options as the wider Trinity line (including the Phase One P5 medium-format mapping camera and Qube 640 LiDAR sensor). It is one of five members of Quantum Systems' current Family of Systems (Trinity Tactical, Trinity Pro, Twister, Reliant and Vector), giving militaries and government agencies a rapid-mapping platform distinct from Vector's ISR-focused reconnaissance role.

Full specifications

Performance

Speed, range, altitude and engagement capability.

Performance specifications
Max speed

Maximum level speed. For aircraft this is at optimal altitude; for ground vehicles, top road speed. Higher means faster response and better kinematic performance.

61 km/h
Bottom 2% of UAVs
Service ceiling

Maximum operating altitude. Higher gives energy advantage and sensor horizon.

4,800 m
Stronger than 29% of UAVs
Endurance

Time on station. Critical for UAVs and patrol platforms, higher means longer persistent coverage. On a ground robot, published continuous run time on a full charge or fuel tank.

1.5 h
