ACCULAR

ACCULAR is Elbit Systems' short-to-medium range guided artillery rocket, fired from the modular PULS launcher alongside the longer-ranged EXTRA and Predator Hawk rounds. Elbit describes it as combat proven and aimed at urban-warfare requirements where near-real-time responsiveness matters and where traditional tube artillery is constrained by terrain, distance or accuracy. The manufacturer quotes a maximum range of up to 40 km and an accuracy of less than 10 m circular error probable, and states the rocket can be ready to fire in under one minute and operates autonomously in any weather without depending on additional systems. Warhead options are a unitary penetration type or a controlled-fragmentation type, chosen to neutralise most artillery targets on the modern battlefield while limiting collateral damage; Elbit claims roughly ten times the effectiveness of a standard high-explosive shell. Multiple rocket types are offered within the ACCULAR family and the round is adaptable to existing launcher platforms.
